Experienced Investment Banking Analyst - Chicago

Overview:
Analysts will work directly with senior bankers and can expect to have significant client interaction. Analysts have primary responsibility for financial modeling and analysis, industry and company research, development of client presentations, and drafting of memoranda and offering documents for internal and external use. Analysts will work on a wide range of transactions including financings (IPOs, secondaries, equity private placements, and PIPEs, among others) and M&A transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and recapitalizations).

Key Experience and Qualifications:
• 1 year experience working as an analyst at top-tier investment bank
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or other relevant fields
• Experience and strengths in valuation, financial modeling and analysis, business plan and company presentation creation and market and industry research.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Superior responsibility, attention to detail, commitment, initiative, maturity and creativity in dealing with assignments
• Desire to be involved in a fast-paced, high performance work environment and a willingness to work long hours
