Financial Services Hedge Fund Analyst

The Analyst will identify, analyze and recommend equities of publicly traded financial services companies in the role of a financial services generalist. The ideal candidate will have a background in the consumer/specialty finance sector and will have responsibility for covering a broad range of financial services companies for investment by the firm’s hedge funds. Sector coverage will include specialty/consumer finance, mortgage, REITs, collection companies, leasing companies, capital markets, banks, and other financial services sub-sectors. Deep knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry is an absolute requirement. Buyside experience preferred, but our client will consider sell side analysts with strong industry backgrounds. Value oriented Hedge Fund, long short equity, approx 450MM AUM.
