We are seeking a Foreign Currency Account Operations Associate position for a top New York City investment bank to assist the business owner in working accounts that deal with primarily foreign currency. This is an entry level operations position that is a great opportunity for a recent graduate with some work experience in the financial industry.

Foreign Currency Account Operations Associate Responsibilities:

Assisting the client support staff and other faculty
Reviewing new client paperwork to verify its accuracy
Arranging and compiling various paperwork for final processing
Making both written and verbal contact with clients concerning accounts and necessary documents
Documenting any and all activities on accounts
Initiating and following up on both short and long-term projects from multiple departments as needed
Process complex payments from daily activity as well as client wire transactions
Serve as primary point of contact between departments for any matters regarding trade flows

Foreign Currency Account Operations Associate Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in the Finance Industry
Bachelors degree in the fields of Finance, Accounting, or Economics
Should possess strong written and oral communication skills
Must have excellent computer skills including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word
Strong data entry skills with ability to input information into various databases
Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills
Sharp analytical skills
MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE US

This Foreign Currency Account Operations Associate role is an entry-level consulting position that is expected to last at least six months with possible extension and pays an annualized salary of $43,680 ($21 per hour).
