Position: Fund Accountant

Firm: Multi-Billion: Private Equity Infrastructure and Leveraged Buyout Funds

Responsibilities:

Fund Accountant will posses private equity accounting experience and a strong investment partnership experience.

Recording all accounting transactions of the fund and ensuring all investments are booked accurately

Initiating capital calls and distributions and preparation of notices for dissemination to investors

Maintaining fund distribution waterfall calculations

Preparing monthly closing of fund books and preparing periodic financial statements

Reconciling fund bank accounts

Assisting on client service matters; being a prominent team member on client service teams (including implementation work) and handling individual client responsibilities

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting

Minimum of 2+ years experience in Accounting or finance - at least 2+ years experience working with a private equity fund or CPA, Fund Administration

Understanding of partnership agreements

Experience with INVESTRAN GL Software
