Job Description
Responsibilities will include idea generation within the Healthcare sector, delivering superior returns through bottoms up, fundamental equity analysis and a value oriented approach.

• Conduct in depth research of small cap healthcare stocks to uncover companies with attractive fundamentals, low institutional ownership and low analyst coverage
• Uncover promising small cap healthcare opportunities that are inefficiently priced through extensive analysis including: screening earnings reports, modeling prospective and existing portfolio companies and dissemination of all key company information
• Add value to the portfolio by finding opportunities in the healthcare sector with a unique perspective, consistently demonstrating an “against the herd” mentality
• Conduct due diligence through meetings and conference calls
• Make clear and concise investment recommendations to the portfolio team
• Travel a minimum of 1-2 times per quarter to attend meetings, conferences and to visit companies.

Qualifications
• Strong understanding of the healthcare sector
• Demonstrated track record of making profitable investment recommendations
• Demonstrated track record of achieving success via non-consensus investment behavior
• Minimum five years experience as an analyst (buy side or sell side)
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Strong work ethic
