Legal Financial Contracts Negotiator

Duties & Responsibilities:
Drafting and negotiating the following distribution agreements: selling group, networking, revenue sharing, fund service, platform and any other relevant documentation and subsequent amendments.
Reviewing constitutional documents and ensuring all requisite corporate consents and approvals are in place.
Assisting in special projects such as contract review and contract abstractions.
Liaising and coordinating with the Legal, Risk & Capital Division of bank and other internal departments as necessary.
Experience/ Requirements:
A qualified lawyer or non-lawyer from a law firm, bank, or corporate background with at least 2 years experience in contract drafting. Familiarity with asset management and experience working with mutual funds, investment managers and alternative investments is preferable. Experience in drafting the above-mentioned contracts also preferable.
The candidate would ideally have the following skill set/experience:

-- Ability to work under time pressure and with a high volume of work
Qualifications:
Law Degree (preferred, but not essential)
Fluent in English (written and oral)
