Portfolio Administrator

Portfolio Administrator
Rhode Island - Providence

Manhattan based Registered Investment Advisor with approximately three billion dollars under management is looking for a Portfolio Administrator to join its growing operations office in Providence, RI.

Ideal Candidate will have a good working knowledge of the financial markets, with a minimum of 3-5 years industry experience. Experience with UBS AND/OR WRAP A HUGE PLUS. Duties to include:

Administer approximately 600-800 portfolios, including account reconciliation, client service issues, corporate actions, trade discrepancies, preparation of client reports and other administrative duties.

Set up and prepare for trading all new portfolios assigned to portfolio administrator

Check for daily inflows and outflows of cash and /or securities and make traders aware of the flows

Download daily transactions from Advent's REX interface and match against existing transactions in Axys

Reconcile completely all assigned portfolios monthly

Check web interfaces of portfolios that do not have electronic feed for transactions and match against or post to Axys

Close portfolios in Axys and Moxy as necessary and communicate closed accounts to traders

Communicate with FAs as necessary

Research and respond to Marketing/Sales and New Accounts inquiries.

Candidate must have a working knowledge of the following software’s:
Advent Portfolio Management Software (Axys).
Microsoft Office
Knowledge of APL (trading platform)
