We are seeking a Portfolio Loan Account Analyst position for a top New York City investment bank, working directly with clients Loan Accounts and analyzing necessary information to make recommendations on investments and process improvements. This is an entry level financial analyst position and a great opportunity for recent graduates to get experience working at a well known financial institution.

Portfolio Loan Account Analyst Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee all loan processing operations including applications and client requests
Review all client documentation to make the necessary loan recommendations
Communicate directly with clients to update information and relay details of loan statuses
Manage all client documentation and rate requests
Maintain all client information in database and investment management systems
Analyze all risk reports and provide insights to management
Create metrics reports for department and present as needed to management
Assist business analysts and project managers on process improvements including testing and reporting
Assist in updates to all loan procedures and policies

Portfolio Loan Account Analyst Requirements:

At least 6 months experience in the Finance Industry working with loan and trade processing
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
Experience or knowledge using database systems ie. Access, mySQL
Advanced skill level using MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong knowledge of Finance Industry and Loan Account Processing
Excellent communication skills both written and oral with confidence to speak to clients and managers
Ability to multitask, work independently and manage time effectively
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE US

This Portfolio Loan Account Analyst role is an entry level consulting position that is expected to last at least 5 months with possible extension and pays an annualized salary of $43,680 ($21/hour).
