The Intern plays an instrumental role in identifying, analyzing and executing investments, as well as assisting in the support and monitoring of partner companies. The Intern is expected to possess strong financial analysis and modeling skills, effective communication skills, and a genuine curiosity or passion for investing and building long-term great businesses. Typical responsibilities will include:
• Assist in the sourcing, initial screening and execution of potential investment opportunities
• Build complex financial models to analyze investment returns and conduct various valuation analyses (e.g. DCF, Transaction Comparables, Public Comparables)
• Perform industry and company-specific research and analysis in support of the investment idea generation process and the evaluation of new investment opportunities
• Draft internal memoranda and investment process materials
