Primary Responsibilities:
1. Monitor automated job processes and respond to any issues or errors.
2. Assist in all production support issues that arise from the user community.
3. Thorough analysis of Security Master/Market Data discrepancies. Must be able to identify root cause of issues within application, process or by third party data vendors.
4. Work with users and developers to help define new projects to extend and enhance company's proprietary financial applications
5. Create test scenarios and implement test cases that will serve as acceptance test criteria for new functionality
6. Responsible for coordinating UAT efforts for Development releases.
7. Act as primary contact for after hours support
8. Be a hands-on member of the team.
Requirements:
1. Security Master/Market Data experience - min 3 yrs
2. Financial industry knowledge - min 3 yrs
3. Working SQL and UNIX knowledge - min 2 yrs
4. General technical proficiency and an ability to learn
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
