A small Colorado based event-driven, special situations institutional research firm and broker-dealer is looking to hire a Sales Trader. Access to all U.S. equity markets - coverage on NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ stock exchanges. All equities, no options, no fixed income. Experience with good track record, strong relationships and willingness to roll up your sleeves and do it all at a small shop i.e. full cycle equity trading, negotiating contracts, dealing with systems and back-office.

Responsibilities

The sales trader has two duties---trading on a firm's or a customer's behalf and selling investment products to customers. The equity salesperson also sells to investors financial products, such as bonds, commercial papers or stocks, that a company issues on securities exchanges.

Requirments

-Existing book of business and established relationships
-A four-year college degree in accounting, finance, economics or investment analysis is preferred but not required.
