Our client, an investment firm located in New York, NY, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst.

The individual will be performing business analysis to assist our FX Cash and Derivatives team. The candidate will be responsible for all phases of the development cycle in order to implementing key components. This includes analysis and document of the requirements, functional specification, development of test scenarios and cases, and participating in test cycles thru solution delivery.

•Work with business and development team to develop and document business and functional requirements

•Work with development team to convert business and functional requirements to technical specifications.

•Assist in development and implementation of test strategies and UAT cycles.

•Act as point of contact for business users for ongoing requirements

•Work as part of business analyst team for group to develop best practice procedures across all strategic projects

QUALIFICATIONS

•5-7+ years post collegiate work experience

•3+ years of experience in financial industry

•Strong understanding of FX business

•Strong understanding of FX cash and option trading and lifecycles

•Prior experience working with trading desk on requirement gathering and user acceptance testing

•Strong knowledge of SDLC

•Business Requirement and functional specification development

•Exposure to Dodd-Frank

•Ability to work as part of a global, cross-cultural team
