The role of Technology Strategy requires extensive knowledge of the global enterprise and carrier/service provider IP networking industries. The successful Technology Strategist will also be able to recognize and further develop unique primary marketplace-based information gathered by the worldwide reporting team for presentation to the firm’s investment research clients.

The Technology Strategist is responsible for co-developing with the firm's Technology Sector Leaders a broad strategic vision for an international technology research team. The sector leaders, editors and reporters specialize in expert source development and maintaining ongoing high-level relationships based on constant strategic marketplace-level information sharing. The technology team then links the knowledge and viewpoints of its industry specialists with institutional investors.

The Technology Strategist reports to the Director of Research.

Demonstrates experience - a broad understanding and strategic view on enterprise technology and companies that engage in the various tech sectors.
Has the ability to work from a central office with a global team across a time zone diverse virtual environment.
Possesses extensive and in-depth knowledge of semi-conductors, networking, computer hardware, computer software, consumer technology, virtualization, and emerging areas that affect enterprise technology, or harness networking technology to deliver communications and other services.
Exhibits superb consultative leadership skills. Possesses the ability to develop his/her own ideas, while also guiding, directing, collaborating with, listening to and implementing the ideas of others. Has the ability to share best practices, consult on individual projects and provide overall strategy and positive, constantly evolving coverage direction.
Demonstrates cutting edge investment knowledge and the ability generate ideas, spot even subtle change and provide timely primary marketing intelligence for the global investment community.
