Venture Capital Analyst Position
Our client is a seed and early stage technology focused Venture Capital firm, seeking a full-time pre-MBA Analyst who will be an integral member of the investment team and (working closely with senior partners) will be involved in all aspects of the investment process.
Key responsibilities:
Assembling documentation, including: Investment memorandum and final deal documentation
Creating quarterly Investor reports
Maintaining investment returns models
Conducting due diligence on potential investments
Preparing market research & intelligence and financial models
Monitoring performance of portfolio companies
Sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities
General Requirements:
2-3 years work experience in investment banking, management consulting and/or technology industry
Working experience or strong demonstrated personal interest in high tech industries (Internet, software, semiconductor, alternative energy)
Strong knowledge of Venture Capital industry
Outstanding communication and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and within a small company environment
Close attention to details
Ability to work independently and within a team
Commitment period:
Candidate must agree to minimum 2 year commitment
Start Date: Immediate/when available
