A man after my own heart...a fellow CS undergrad myself. At least you realize this before you're graduating and not after two years of working.

I'm looking at doing banking long term(like analyst->associate->VP, then quit), save up enough money for my dream house in Westchester (which would cost about $3mil to construct, including the cost of land) and then quitting to go to private equity or venture capital or something...I want a life outside the office. Of course, once I'm not working 90,000 hours per week, I'll move to Westchester.

That pretty much mirrors my plan, though if I were to move to Westchester it would be the one in LA, not NY.
