Im going to be interning for a small investment firm in nyc for 3 months in spring and need some short-term furnished housing (preferably an apartment).

Does anyone know places that offer this?

I need a reasonably priced apartment near midtown. Travel to midtown cannot exceed 30 minutes and it should be less than $1200/month and of course, the cheaper the better.

Anyone got any ideas for finding an apartment?

Is there anyone looking for a roommate that will be working in the Palo Alto/Menlo Park area? There is a 3 Br and I am looking for a 3rd housemate. Let me know if you are interested.

I found a great deal on a full-service 2 BR place near Port Authority with gym, doorman, etc. I'll be working downtown at a BB and will need to take the A,C,E which is manageable from the Port Authority area.

I'm looking for some advice on whether this location will be too far to manage once I start getting killed at work.

I'm beginning to get real desperate trying to find summer housing using craigslist for a 2 br in manhattan for the summer to share with a fellow intern from my school..Any other resources that could help me out? I have less than a month to go and i really want to get this out of the way

has anyone on their summer analyst stint ever stayed in the new school dorms? if you have or know someone that has, any commentary or perspectives would be very helpful

I think it's too late for me to apply to NYU's dorms, and the other university dorms I called for double and triple rooms require me to share the bedroom, which I don't want to do.

I'm looking to have roommates, with each of us having separate bedrooms. I've looked on Craigslist - but I don't want to be stuck with a weirdo.

Does anyone have personal experience on living with a complete stranger off Craigslist? Does it take away from your internship experience?
