2013 Boxster: Ballin' on a Budget?

I know we have a lot of gearheads on WSO, and the topic of what car to buy with that bonus check comes up fairly often. With that in mind, I thought you guys would like to see the new 2013 Porsche Boxster that has just been revealed. It's much better looking than its predecessors (IMHO) and it's surprisingly affordable: only $60,000 for the souped up S-model.

I have to admit that I've never been a fan. When the Boxster was first introduced in 1996, it seemed like every douchebag and his brother in La Jolla was driving one. Seriously. It was like every third parked car in that town was a Boxster. And they were not good looking cars. The ass end looked like it belonged on a Fiat.

But the Boxster has evolved, and now looks much more like a classic Porsche (again, IMHO). And for $60,000 I don't think you'll be able to find anything more powerful. Now, I realize it'll be next to impossible to actually find one available for that price in 2013, but you never know, you might get lucky. And the ladies definitely love Porsches.

Despite the efforts of the good time police, bank bonuses will be up for 2010 and we did a quick check to see how people wished to spend it.

A new watch? A Brioni? No and no. What men really want is a new car.

Men and cars, never has there been a more perfect union. From the day you tacked that Ferrari poster on your wall, to the moment you let go of the clutch in your mom’s beater, we are bound to them. We covet them, and we lust over them.

Thank God for an industry where we can afford them sooner.

Here’s the list:

I know theres a lot of you out there wanting to be traders, desperately gobbling up anything and everything you can find to appear as if you have an understanding of how the markets work at those interviews...well fellas, guess what - trading is not about regurgitating LIBOR rates in front of a inattentive VP, its about instincts. It's about understanding how business works.

And here's a 17 year old kid who seems to be a born trader - he started out with an old cellphone and kept trading up on Craigslist till he ended up with a Porsche. Now thats some real ballin' tradin'
