Resume Review

Based on my resume what could I do to make myself more competitive for a S&T internship at a BB bank or at a top prop firm. I go to one of the best liberal arts schools in the nation( Top Tier NESCAC). Do you think I have a shot? What could I do to improve my resume before summer internship recruiting.

I'm a rising junior at a target, and just made my resume for junior spring resume drop for SA...my dilemma now is that I have held "only" one internship so far (albeit for 7 months), and although i think the experience has been decent, it's not a "brand name", and I guess its nothing eye-popping...many of my friends seem to have at least 1-2 internships so far before they apply to SA positions ...

I might have another offer to work in the fall for another hedge fund of funds, and the only benefit of this I see is that it fills up space on the work exp section, i don't think I will learn incrementally much more. It's not a brand name, but I guess it helps me "keep up" with other kids who also have multiple no-brand name internships up until soph summer...should I take this offer?

Note: There is one thing on the resume that hasn't actually happened yet- me being TA for a course starting this fall semester, but I decided to put that on there since it will be on there by the time I start reaching out.

Hey guys,

I currently work for a fortune 500 company. I attended a nontarget for undergrad (but I did a summer business program at Vanderbilt, which is why it isn't under education). My main question is this: I started a company in college (that I still operate) that does social media marketing for local companies. I left it off the resume because it didn't really flow with the rest of what I've done. I know the financial advisor internship is currently the weakest part of the resume. Should I replace it with my company?

I'm graduating next month with no job and I'm hoping some of you could provide some feedback on what needs to be changed/removed/added. I done all I could to make the best possible and have nothing else to add. Please take a look at the restaurant role, made a few chnages to that recently, I don't know if it looks decent. Also - Manager, Restaurant - doesnt look right, any suggestion?

I'm a sophomore at a target, and just started preparing a preliminary version of my resume for recruiting next semester...I showed my resume to a few upperclassmen, and got mixed reviews. Some say if I apply to banking, the math classes in the education section could get me dinged, because I look like someone who doesn't know what he's applying to etc, and also my work experience isn't really banking related (i'm interning at a fund of funds)...

so I was just wondering : do I "need" another internship which is more IBD related (like ER, boutique IBD etc) in order to get more first round interviews? what are some of the things on my resume that could get me dinged?

I recently switched from compter science to economics... I want to get my Master's in Financial Economics at LSE or someplace in Europe....

How does Stockholm School of Economics compare? How many economics masters degrees are offered per year in the world?

Anyways I have absolutely no value to a hedge fund with my resume and I'm very anxious about it... any suggestions would be great!

I am getting my materials together in preparation for recruiting at my school which is starting for sophomore/junior internships. This resume will be an application to a BB internship that just opened up for sophomores only. First time posting a resume to WSO. Tear it apart, I appreciate it.

Background:
- Target Ivy
- Interning as Research Analyst with Louis Dreyfus Commodities in China in March i.e. after the resume submission deadline
- Decent amount of entrepreneurial experience (audited course at target ivy b school, founded own business)
- Otherwise not too much applicable finance or banking experience

- I also left out work experience as a professional photographer, and put my admissions office internship under activities for my school instead of work experience; good move since both are irrelevant?
