noticed recently in an offer contract that if i join this bank that i have to move all my brokerage accounts to the bank unless i get an exception from compliance in writing (obviously not going to happen)...going to miss my zecco account.

is this standard practice for ibanks?

Given that ER has better lifestyle, hours, and maybe like 15% less pay, if your eventual goal is HF, what are the advantages of IB?

Any of the BB's have good ER too, while not all of them give you great modeling experience in IB...

Love to hear thoughts

I started an extended internship in May which ended last week - worked in accounting for a large Healthcare company. BTW, I am a 19 year old rising sophomore. My ultimate goal is to land a IB internship, however considering that many are on a hiring freeze, what can you guys recommend for me from this point forward? I go to school full-time in the afternoon/evenings - would looking into any Finance jobs/internships be valuable for the long-term?

IB Ratings advisory and capital structure, how are those groups viewed from bank to bank? great group to work in? what would the work entail?
