equty sales IBD

I have been looking forward to join IBD. However, there is a potential equity sales offer at this moment in time. Given this tough market, I don't want to turn it down. So I just want to know is it possible that I can land on the IBD some time after being sales. if impossible, what's the general exit opportunities for equity sales. Hope some experienced monkeys can help. Any valuable inputs is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
