I'm currently considering two positions:

Tech-focused middle-market Ibanking at a small established boutique firm
Blackrock Portfolio Analytics Group (PAG)

I have a full-time Analyst offer from BlackRock, but now I'm worried since they just announced job cuts. Do you think I should be concerned about this? I also have an offer from a suisse bank which I haven't rejected. Do you think I should consider changing?

An internal memo was distributed to BlackRock employees yesterday announcing job cuts "across the firm". No word on exactly how many of the 6200+ full time employees will be affected.

The news comes just one day after Citigroup dropped the bombshell of their upcoming elimination of some 53,000 jobs.

Anyone care to start taking wagers on who gets voted off the island tomorrow?
