Freddie Mac
The Rescue on Main Street
Frustration and anger are two feelings that come bubbling forth from my gut as I watch the drama unfold in regard to the rescue plan for our financial system being deliberated before my eyes. At the heart of the matter sit the two Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSE's) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The utter disregard for the facts by the mainstream television and print media, Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd completely amazes me.

Big Brother flexes muscles over Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac
Let the bail-out begin.
But is it really worth it in the long run for our Big Brother to step in and babysit the mortgage crisis, or are we going to get less than we are bargaining for? I’m somehow reminded of a quote I heard once:
“A babysitter is a teenager acting like an adult while the adults are out acting like teenagers.”
Could there BE a better analogy?
