These guys seem to have a well regarded MM Sales and Trading department, yet I cannot find anywhere on their website talk about summer internships with S&T. Anyone have some insight to this?

I have recently been referred to a Managing Director in S&T who is head of Institutional Sales. I have some general questions to ask, but does anyone here have any insightful topics to discuss or any suggestions for just how to go about leveraging the contact into an SA interview?

What are job prospects going to look like for S&T in Asia(specifically HK)for students in US target schools? I've heard one needs to know mandarin for IBD in HK, but does that apply to S&T too?

Is it possible to do s&t or equity research at a BB in NYC and live on Long Island?

I have an interview for the s&t role on a public finance desk at a bb, basically trading munis. Can someone who is familiar with trading munis talk about whether this is a good area to trade? From my understanding, some people look down at pub fin and trading munis?
