When asked what stocks do you follow/pitch a stock what stocks would you talk about?

Hi all,

So I was wondering if anyone on here has used an MBA Entrance Consultant?

In particular I am wondering if you found the person made a bigger difference than had you just applied it on your own???

Several people have highly recommended me to this guy that works out of Los Angeles (where I am not and would have to do it through email/phone/skpe).

(BTW the consultant's email is miwy91@yahoo.com - he is suppose to be well know if anyone has used him in particular please PM me and tell me how it went/results and if I should go with him etc).

If someone has used any consultant please please let me know ways to make the most of it.

Can somebody explain in plain english what the equity capital markets are? I have an informational interview with an ED in equity capital markets at a BB coming up and I don't really know what that is and would like to before speaking with him. If someone could explain that and what an executive directors role within this division would be I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Just wondering what you guys thought the chances of starting at a Big 4 TS position out of undergrad and making it to PE would be and what the career track would look like. I'm trying to decide on a full time offer right now. Thanks.

Anyone ever heard of Carreker Revenue Enhancement Group?

I've been heavily focusing on on-campus recruiting at my school and have, fortunately, gotten lots of interviews... but no second rounds! I've already gotten at least 5 phone calls telling me that I was an excellent candidate and if the markets weren't this bad, I would definitely be a shoo-in. I have a high GPA, target school, waiting to hear back from my summer at a BB about a full-time offer... I just don't get it!

I am especially frustrated because I get absolutely no sympathy from anyone. Everyone at my school says that I should be thankful that I am getting 1st rounds, but getting a lot of 1st rounds means nothing if I can't get into the 2nd round. for those who have been successful in this market (gotten 2nd rounds or even that offer), PLEASE GIVE ME SOME INSIGHT. What am I doing wrong? OR rather, WHAT MORE CAN I DO? This week is pretty much the last week of on-campus interviewing, so any advice soon would be great. thanks!
