Transfer Students - list your old school GPA on your Resume?
I transferred from Duke to UNC this past year for personal reasons. I'm a current sophomore, and I'm just wondering how I'm supposed to list my GPA on my resume; Do I make one 'aggregate' GPA, list both GPAs separately, or just list my UNC GPA? Thanks.
Focus on raising GPA in summer school?
I attend a top target (H/W/P) however I have a low GPA that I have been trying to raise. I spent last summer taking classes and I am considering taking two more classes this summer in order to have a decent GPA for FT recruitment (~3.15-3.2). As it stands OCR starts in January and I dont believe my GPA is high enough yet to be considered for any real opportunities (~2.8-2.9). I know my limitations and am in no way aiming for BB's, think MM/Boutiques (even regional) who would give a guy like me a shot. My GPA was hampered by some family issues but I am not trying to make any excuses, I am trying to show an upward trend and dedication so when I get an interview I can say, "Yeah thats what I had however I understood the problem, did what I had to do and worked my ass off to do it."

Adjusted GPA on a Pro Forma Basis
by Sir Equity Go
Recently, recruiters at top universities and college administrators alike have recognized a growing trend in the student job market, namely the adoption of “adjusted” GPA figures. It appears that students have realized what investment bankers have known for years: if you don’t like a number, you can change it.
GPA question for background check
I listed only my junior year GPA on my resume - it is 0.4 higher than my cumulative GPA which I didn't list. After getting a full time offer at a bank, can I get dinged if they don't like what my cumulative GPA is?? I would appreciate honest and not judgmental feedback. Thank you.
GPA rounding
For the applications and resume, would it be okay if I round my GPA from a 3.462 to a 3.5? That's not unethical, right? Just want to make sure.
Minimum GPA when applying
Some firms have a minimum GPA when applying. Lets say its says min. GPA of 3.2, and I have about a 3.12. I say I have a 3.2 on my resume. Hypothetically if I got an offer, would they rescind it cause my GPA isn't above 3.2?
GPA vs. Major
Hi, I'm a sophomore at Stern undergrad planning on majoring in finance. I'm in the ROTC for both personal and monetary reasons. Finance is definitely the most competitive major so I would be better off majoring in econ at Stern if GPA was my main concern. After I serve in military for 4-5 years, I'm planning on getting an MBA. My question is, does GPA matter so much in MBA admissions that I should maybe switch over to econ? Also, would majoring in finance then getting my MBA seem repetitive? How does MBA schools in general view an undergrad finance degree? Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks.
