Do any PE shops recruit undergrads besides BX?

If so, do any of them (besides BX) offer summer internships?

Where would these shops rank relative to top BB banks (MS, GS, etc) and top boutique banks (Greenhill, Moelis, etc) in terms of prestige, compensation, B school admissions, and other exit opportunities?

Does anyone have a feel for PE Associate recruiting schedules given the current market dislocation? To my understanding, the first wave of Associate recruiting takes place in the July-Aug, followed by another wave in Feb-March.

I joined a private equity firm out of undergrad and am possibly looking to lateral within the industry after 2 years.

I've got a dinner coming up with 5 or 6 other Duke juniors with people from Fidelity. Anyone know anything about Fidelity equity research? How can I turn this into an internship? Any help would be appreciated here.

Given the markets and posts here, should I even bother to apply to either? To S&T?

I never liked it but today I had 3 interviews with different divisions and had to answer why A why B why C and all I really want is a job. I didnt pay 40k a year for nothing!

It was bad enough when I was competing against other laid off first years. Now I'm getting rejection calls and emails (3 boutiques so far) telling me that technically I'm sound but the people they are bringing in for their second & final rounds are 2nd year analysts and have better experience.

now it looks like I won't even be getting final rounds like I did during the summer.
