Big 4 TAS Internships?
Does anyone know if the big 4 have TAS (transaction advisory) internships? And if so, is this the biggest feeder into full time? Or does one take an audit internship and recruit full time for TAS positions?
Thanks!
FT Job Advice Needed: Big 4 vs Industry
Hey fellow WSOers,
I am a graduating senior and I need help picking a job to position myself for bschool. Before I begin, let me explain where I am coming from. So, like most of you, I did do an internship with a top tier ibank (think MS or GS). My internship was in the equity research division. Had the FT offer but had it taken back, also had superdays canceled. Some of you have been there this semester, I suppose.
Big 4 vs. Accounting at Big Bank
Where is a better place to start a career, a big bank such as Goldman, Morgan Stanley, or Deutsche in their Finance/Accounting department or working at a Big 4 firm? I assume Big 4 because you can get your CPA right? I am getting a Master's in Accounting by the way.

PWC vs KPMG offers
Hey guys,
If I have an internship offer from both KPMG and PWC in tax for NYC which should I take? I liked the people and environment much more at KPMG and they also offered to pay me more. KPMG offered around $30 an hr and I know friends who just accepted fulltime offers with a starting salary with a Master's in tax of $72,000+(5k signing bonus). PWC offer was about $27/hr and starting salary was low 60's. I really just didn't like the environment or people at PWC. My only fear is the PWC has a much better client base and KPMG I think is having tough times. Do you think accepting an offer at KPMG is risky? Will there be layoffs or a possible reneg of my offer from KPMG? What should I do?
