Site Suggestions

I was wondering if anyone was have the same problems as me when loading topics. When I click on a Forum topic (like on the right side) it loads the page unformatted. This has been going on for like a week for me. I've tried clearing the cache, cookies, restarting the computer, etc. but nothing really works.

I wanted to say I'm a big fan of the site and it often keeps me entertained on slow days.

The number of posts regarding real estate investment banking and REPE have started to increase and I think it is time to have a new forum for Real Estate in general. It will likely get me posting a bit more often as well.

Hey Mods, I'm out of the country right now but I've noticed a bunch of new groups being created related to plastic surgery...

If you could stay on top of this (ie delete any groups that are just links to plastic surgery sites) until we find a solution to blocking these users that would be much appreciated.

I think a "Find Similar Articles" link would be helpful at the top (or bottom) or a thread. Yes, I'm lazy, but it would be nice.

Where can monkeys talk about personal investing? I feel like it overlaps with the Traders Train forum but should be on its own...

I recently (since 11/2009) have been putting a lot of money into the market and i'd love for a place to talk with other amateur investors about ideas, tips, strategy, etc.

...a place to brag about big wins, complain big losses. My only concern for the monkeys and the WSO site would be if it raises concern with SEC for some reason if it seems like a bunch of bankers/research guys are giving stock tips.

Traders Train is great for kids on the S&T path, but an M&A guy with an investing "hobby" on the side, it would be cool to have a unique area.

What do other users think?

Remember those little NO SOLICITORS signs that people had on their doors? Maybe that was just a relic of 80's and 90's Chicago, but no matter. Heads up, everyone. Let's pretend there's a little NO SOLICITORS sign on this website. That means that there are no stupid posts about "8 great ways to do some stupid shit" followed by a link to some pathetic website. If you want to piggyback off of WSO's success to drive traffic to your site, that's a fine idea and a time honored tradition - it's called advertising, bitch. Pony up and buy some space and you can trumpet your website all you want.
