I'm going to be a first year starting next July, and have begun to think about starting to build my wardrobe, and to take advantage of any sales over the next 7-8 months.

One of my biggest vices over the summer were the off the rack shirts that I got for my SA, and while I'm not really a picky fashion sort of guy, I'll admit the one thing that bugs me are shirts that have too much body.

I'm 5'10 and about 165 and fairly lean, so even the slim fits Charles Tyrewhitt are still too poofy. Does anyone have a suggestion for a tailor to get some reasonable priced custom shirts?

I've been reading a lot about clothing on the i-banking board. Those people are obsessed! (No offense.)

What should I buy to prepare for a summer as an associate at MBB on the West Coast of the US?
