rbc capital markets

How is rbc capital markets in nyc? I am deciding between them and BofA for an analyst position. I'd appreciate any input on 1. viability of the company (aka will it exist by the time I graduate in 2009?) and 2. exit opps (if I choose to leave the firm). I'm also comparing the amount of responsibility and just learning opps at a whole at both firms, and from my visits, it seems like RBC comes on top because they're smaller and more flat structure.

anyone currently at Bank of America

I'm looking for the email of someone who works there. if you currently work there, please pm me. it will take like 2 seconds of ur time, but I would really appreciate it. thanks.

Merrill Lynch recruiters

Why are there still Merrill Lynch recruiters coming to my college campus? Are they just going through the motions, or is MER actually planning to recruit, interview, and give offers for full time positions? At the event last week, the MER recruiter insisted they will still be hiring for IB, research, and S&T. With incoming 1st years from both MER and BofA still unsure of their future within the combined firm, does anybody know what the deal is here?

Accepted FT IB Offer at BofA ...Am I safe? Opinions?

Just accepted a full-time Investment Banking offer at Bank of America. I assume a lot of ML analysts will have a tough time keeping their jobs, but how safe do you think people in my position will be?

Full Time Offer Status at ML or BofA?

So... if you did your summer at BofA or ML and got a full time offer... what are the odds of keeping it?

I would think the groups that BofA is strong in like HC and Debt would be eliminated from ML....

anyone have insight on this?
