A Consumer sector equity research boutique seeks a head of Institutional Sales to start up their New York or Connecticut office and help build a premier independent equity research boutique. The firm uses its consumer sector expertise, along with primary research to offer a highly proprietary and differentiated research product to institutional investors, investment banks, and private equity clients. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, energetic candidate with a strong track record of equity research sales and new account development. The candidate will also help build out an equity sales team. Any candidate must have strong relationships with the buyside, a history of success within institutional sales, 5+ years of experience, and a strong educational background. Experience in the consumer sector would be a plus but isn’t a requirement
