Superday

UBS Super Day Financial Advisor Associate

Has anyone been invited to the Super Day in NY on Nov. 13,14th? Anyone waiting to hear?

Also if anyone has attended one in the past would like to offer any insight on their experience I would appreciate it.

Citi Ops Superday

I have a superday interview with Citi for ops next friday. I've never done a superday before. How does it work? More specifically, has anyone done the Citi ops superday? What did they ask you? What was the format? Etc..

Superday Conflict

I just received notification that I was invited to a Superday with Firm A. Unfortunately, it's scheduled for the same day as another Superday I already have lined up with Firm B. Is there a diplomatic method to go about rescheduling one of the Superdays? The problem is:

-Firm A is less "prestigious" (meaning it's smaller, does fewer mega-deals, and is more of a niche player), but I know for a fact that they're actively looking to ramp up their US IBD
-Firm B is a bulge bracket, but the hiring outlook, given the current volatile market trajectory, is uncertain

I wouldn't think it'd be wise to tell either HR straight-up that I have another Superday on the same day, as that would lend the impression that I'm already favoring another firm. What methods would you suggest in attempting to resolve this scheduling conflict?

Thanks in advance.

HLHZ Super Day

Does anyone know when HLHZ will have its Super Saturday? I was told that one will be held sometime in October but have not heard back yet. I'm looking mainly at the Chicago and Minneapolis offices. Thanks for the help!

FT offer waiting list? Need your insight.

Hey guys,

I would love to hear what you guys have to say about my situation.

I got a call yesterday from HR and they told me that I had done very well in my interviews on superday and that I was at the top of their "list" (near the top of the list? I can't remember). Anyways, that was the good news. BUT, the bad news is that they are still waiting to hear back from their summer analysts whom they extended offers to. My HR rep told me that their full-time recruit class is about the same as their summer analyst class and that their retention rate is typically about 75-80%. In the markets we're in, that rate could either be lower as analysts look to move away from the financial services industry, or it could be higher as those who received offers look to secure their jobs. I asked if even one summer analyst were to decline their offer, would I have a good chance at receiving an offer, and the HR rep said that I would indeed be one of the first to hear about a full-time position.

Accept Offer --> Still go to Superday

Tricky situation. I have an offer with a firm that I'm 99% sure I'm going to accept. However, I have a super day lined up with another company that I don't want to completely rule out at this moment.

I'm just wondering though if I go through and accept the super day, can I cancel it if I go ahead and accept the offer before the super day takes place? Or, does canceling a super day mean I'll be perpetually blacklisted from the firm in question?

I'm sorry if this question is a little confusing.

Thanks!

Citi 1st Round SuperDay

Citi's 1st Round Analyst Super Day (for non-target schools) is at the end of the week for banking. Just heard back from them that I got it today and got a flight to New York an hour after they called me.

Any advice on how to prepare for the interview in such a short amount of time. I had a SA internship at in NYC this summer and got an offer, finance major at a non-target.
