interview suit

I am going to be interviewing soon with different investment banks for summer internships and just bought my interview suit. I'm on a pretty tight budget so I went to Macy's and had the sales-rep there help me. After measuring me, he put me in a 250 dollar, three button Alfani suit. It is navy blue (almost black) with a subtle greyish pin-stripe. I also bought conservative black Bostonian shoes for 100 bucks. Friends of mine who have gone through the recruiting process tell me its important to dress conservative, not look shabby, and fit in. I am worried this suit is too cheap and a bit too flashy, although the stripe is very subtle (you can barely see it from 10 feet away). Should I return this suit? It seems to fit fine, should I get it adjusted by a tailor?

Caring for a suit

Someone told me not to wear my suit jacket while driving. Any truth to this? How do you get around it during the winter when you are wearing a heavy coat?

Former Lehman employee looking to liquidate wardrobe

Hey guys,

I don't work at Lehman but one of my good friends does. He just purchased 3 Zegna suits and 2 Canalis, both in Size 42R. They are brand new and unworn. He also just purchased a Rolex Submariner and a Longines Master Collection. He is looking to liquidate all of these for cheap and move back to South Carolina. If you are interested, shoot me a PM and I will get you in touch. He is looking to get out of NYC within 1 week.
