America is in for a rude awakening
On Tuesday, the American people voted for the most liberal and inexperienced president in modern U.S. history. The current financial crisis and Bush's unpopularity were too much to overcome for the McCain/Palin ticket.
A lot of well-educated professionals voted for Obama because he's smart, articulate, thoughtful, and calm. And of course, in cities like Chicago and NYC, which are liberal bastions of political correctness, there was the pressure to vote for the black guy because it will be historical and transformational.
Debate Takeaways?
Anyone get a chance to catch the debate last night?
Am I the only one that thinks McCain sounds like a moron who endlessly babbles about war? Obama has the upper hand in this race.
Democrats set their own bailout plans

Lets Talk Wall Street Politics
as ive mentioned before...ive been gone awhile. did i miss the discussion for or against the presidential candidates or are we limiting that discussion on wso? im just curious to know positions and justifications from a wall street perspective, which as we all know typically sides republican, especially in a year like this one. maybe thats too much to ask tho, i know these discussions can get bitter and nasty...and no one likes to be politically exposed. any way just wondering.
