If the finance world is generally a zero-sum game...who is winning as a result of the rapid decay we have seen over the past year?

I am far from an expert as you can see, and its clear that greater minds than mine are very perplexed, but I still cannot get my mind wrapped around this question...

If there are so many losers right now, who is winning?
