Blackstone, HLHZ, Lazard Restructuring Interview

Hey Guys,

Happy Holiday!

I have an interview coming up with the top restructuring firms on the street. Given the current condition of the economy, I see a bright near future in restructuring. I just wanted some insight from you seasoned wall street oasers on how to prepare for restructuring interviews. How different are they from typical i-banking interviews? Resources I could look at? Things I should absolutely know etc.

Thanks,

SII

Lazard vs Moelis?

Now that the bulge brackets have all turned into commercial banks (LOL) middle market is the new bracket- Lazard vs Moelis?

Lazard NYC

I was just wondering how hard is it to get into the summer analyst program there from a non target with stellar grades? anyone with any insight on this subject matter, please shed some light.

Lazard Real Estate Investment Banking

Hey. i was wondering if anyone had any information on this group. Why do the recruit separately from the rest of Lazard? Are they well regarded on the street? Do they get any restructuring work? I have an upcoming interview with them. Thanks.

Help with offer decisions

Hey guys,

I would definitely appreciate some insight on which group to choose.

---------

My offers:

BofA Real Estate Investment Banking - SF
Barclays (formerly Lehman) - Menlo Park Tech Group
Jefferies Broadview - Foster City Tech Group

Waiting on:

Lazard - TMT Group in SF

Thanks!

Lazard is now the most prestigious bank

Let's face it: Lehman no longer exists, Merrill is a sub of BofA, and Goldman and MS have transformed into ordinary retail banks.

For those who want to do M&A, Lazard is now the best (and most prestigious) option.

By the way, I am not associated with Lazard. (Not yet, at least)

Lazard Middle Market

What do people think of the possibility of joining Lazard Middle Market? In a time like this, would it be a good option? Anyone have any idea of what exit opps might look like after an analyst stint? Thanks.
