An anonymous clubgoer bought this $20k bottle of Armand de Brignac champagne at Marquee last week!! Here is a picture of the bottle; it’s 6 liters and was the first of a limited edition of 30 to be sold in the US. The bottle is so big it’s covering the mysterious moneybags who bought it.

What are the odds this is some douche from the Street waxing off part of his bonus? Not very likely.

But considering the state of unemployment, budget cutbacks, and bonus reductions you've gotta give the buyer credit where it's due, this takes balls. Stupid, stupid balls. But I pose this question to you, if given the means to do so would you indulge in such a gratuitous purchase at a club for one night?

It would be epic!

New Moneymaker - Renewable Energy & Efficient Construction Projects

We have seen the downfall of what we know as Wall Street. One of the biggest bubbles has just popped - obviously residential and commercial real estate. The next bubble has got to be renewable energy. Obama is coming in and is pouring tons of money into renewable energy and projects to rebuild all our shitty infrastructure here in the U.S. If I am not mistaken this will create a GIGANTIC market for these kinds of bonds, stocks, companies, etc. This is what I believe will be one of the new moneymakers on Wall Street in the coming years. Thoughts?

A PIT BULL WITH $150,000 LIPSTICK

In this political day and age, we’ve dumbed down America to the point where candidates refer to American citizens like they were Fischer Price toys (Joe the Plumber, Vivian, the Librarian, Joe Six-Pack, Carl the Talking Airplane), it’s a refreshing pimp-slap to learn in this economy-crashing-into-the-side-of-the-mountain era, that Sarah-the Hockey mom, champion of the working class (“Hey, I’m just like you except I’m a governor, beauty pageant contestant, former TV sportscaster and can play the flute), is spending $150,000 of GOP money on fancy new set of duds, makeup, and hair.

Yes, as it turns out, Sarah-the Hockey Mom is actually Sarah-the-Shop-o-holic

Easy Question, Please help

If you have 10 million to invest in a company, which financial statement (balance sheet, statement of cash flows, income statement) would you look at to get info on the company and what specific pieces of data?

Thanks.
