Silicon Valley vs. Wall Street: Working at Google...On the engineering side (again at least at my company), someone 3 years out generally comes in at $150K base + 0-20% bonus + $350K in RSUs (4 year vest)...which basically means that assuming the stock price stay constant or if private the valuation stays constant you are making ~$260K per year.... 1 year 7 months
Silicon Valley vs. Wall Street: Working at someone who works in tech, one thing to note on the comp. side for most of the big "sexy" tech firms (goog, dropbox, box, linkedin, airbnb, square, facebook, etc.) is that a large % of your comp comes in the form of restricted stock. First step is to clarify...does the interviewer want to include only bags being unloaded (arrivals) or do they also want bags being loaded (departures), do they want to include carry on bags or not. How is F500 FLDP for M7 admissions?at my F500 tech co. every FLDP analyst over the past 10 years that has applied to an M7 school has been accepted...this is about ~2-5 or so per year with ~80% attending HBS or GSB.
