Looking for Case Practice Partners AsapHi All, I'm currently at a non-target uni and have coursework and professional experience focused around finance. I'm interested in eventually transitioning into strategy consulting (or analytics) and am looking for a few case partners to practice with. I'm very eager to improve my skills and I'... 1 1 year 1 month
What's harder? FT vs. LateralHey guys, It seems like most FT analysts at banks and asset management firms come from summer internships. I've also seen laterals to the very same firms at the analyst level (with 1-3 years of previous work experience) but very few analysts who started FT straight from school without having... 1 year 2 months
Interviewer not responding to scheduling emailHey guys, I got an email from a bank to schedule a time to interview for an IB analyst job. I listed out several convenient times and replied to it. NO response for 4 days so I send a follow up. No response for another 4 days so I send another followup. Interviewer responds 3 days after second... 3 1 year 2 months
Looking for a roommate(s) near Hartford CTHey guys, I'll be working in an M&A role near Hartford CT and I'm looking for a roommate for this coming summer. Please send me a PM if you're in a similar boat and trying to find a roommate before your internship/FT opportunity starts! 1 year 11 months

Housing RoommatesHow many roommates would you have max for an apartment either for living off campus while in college, participating in an internship or working FT? More than 2 people sharing the same bathroom, kitchen , etc seems like a pretty tight squeeze. However, having a "fun" and "diverse" group of roommates... 1 2 years 9 months
BIWS ModelingHow many days or how many hours does it take to complete the basic modeling program? (For anyone who has tried it or knows anything about it). It goes through learning accounting, corporate finance, an M&A model and an LBO model. Could the program be completed effectively given two weeks? 7 2 years 10 months
Difference between a 3.7, 3.8 and 3.9 GPAHow differently would a recruiter/admissions counselor consider a 3.7 GPA, a 3.8 GPA and a 3.9 GPA? 3.7 is a little low I know, but is there really that much of a difference between a 3.8 (magna cum laude) and a 3.9 (summa cum laude) coming from a state school? 28 2 years 10 months
FT without SA position?I'm in kind of a weird position with credits at my school. Because of AP credits, summer classes, etc, I can theoretically graduate in 3 years with this coming year being a senior year. However, I wasn't able to get a SA position anywhere this summer so though my resume is "okay", I feel like it's... 10 2 years 11 months
COOP InternshipHow do students usually find COOP internships through networking? Some posts in the past, indicate that it is possible to get full time internships in the fall at even BBs with much less competition, but they're all old and firms might not do this anymore. Also do students have to pay their school... 4 2 years 11 months
