SA -> FT: Different office/location?

In S&T, if you succeed at getting a full time offer after your SA, will it always be for the same office where you spent your summer, or is there any chance that you could ask to be placed into a different location for FT? For example, if your summer was in Zurich, could you ask to be placed into New York for FT, or if your summer was in London and you want to do FT in Hong Kong, etc., etc.?

Also, if you don't get a full time offer from the bank where you spent your summer, does it make sense at all to apply to that same bank again for full-time recruiting in the fall? What if you apply for a different location from where you spent your summer?

Internship dilemma - DIFC

I would appreciate some advice on my dilemma. I have not gotten any IB internship and was pretty dissapointed about that as I will be graduating next year and hope to get into IB afterwards. Now I have been offered an opportunity to do an internship at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC).
