Missing Work??

Hello all, I finally landed an S&T internship but will strictly be on the T end of the rotations due to alot of luck and some cleverly phrased rec's. What I'd like to know, and am absolutely paranoid to ask, what happens when you miss a day of work? As an SA they told us basically dont let it happen, flat out. But say I land full time, and miss a day or two on the desk what exactly occurs? A good friend in IBD told me he missed one day his first year as an analyst and alot of the other analysts took up his share of the work, and his VP was fine with that. Is trading different due to the nature of the job? or is it dependant on which bank you are working for, thank you for the help!

How many banned from Doostang?

Last night I commented in a thread about doostang here (not negatively), this morning I woke up... BOOM banned from doostang. On other forums I never hear of people being banned from doostang and it appears a common theme on wallstreetoasis. How many of you have had accounts deleted? any speculation as to causes?

I was recently extended an offer for an internship with a small S&T outfit in Japan. I dont speak japanese and I'm as anglo as they come aesthetically, but I was assured this was all O.K. I have not yet accepted as I am waiting on other offers, one of them being in asia aswell. Have any of you worked there in a banking environment?

I am currently a junior at stony brook, certainly a non target. I am very curious as to if any of you actually know anyone who got into a top 10 directly out of undergrad?
