will it hurt to withdrawl from a class?

I need to get straight As this semester to pull my GPA over the 3.6 threshold but I'm in line for a B in an intro geology class. If I'm going to withdraw, it's going to show up on my transcript.

Is it that bad to have 1W on my transcript? Will it affect full time recruiting? Is it worth it to avoid the B and end up with 3.58 rather than 3.62?

would anyone here take CPA or CFA just for ibanking?

I'm a junior going into an investment firm for the summer and hoping to do well in full time ibanking recruiting in the fall. As an econ major, I haven't taken a single accounting course. My goal is to study during the summer and past one of these exams to show my interest in finance. So it's strictly used to build up my resume.
