docstoc.com has tons of free lbo, dcf, vc/cap table, etc etc models; most are kind of crappy, but some are great in case you want to brush up

there are also tons of legal docs, etc (which is what brought me onto the site); def some great stuff on here

i think wallstreetoasis is great, and an awesome resource; however, sometimes the ibanking forum gets a little too saturated. what i mean by that is, someone just asked a question about valuation methods for luxury goods companies; that post will probably get pushed down by "Rate the best banks" or something like this.

i have copied a "Sheet A" from "workbook 1" into "workbook 2". workbook 1 has a cell named "value_begin". workbook 2 has a cell named the same thing, but sheet A is still referencing "value_begin" from workbook 1. how do i get it to reference the "value_begin" in workbook 2?

ANY help would be MUCH appreciated

if you were asked in an interview to look at a 10k and figure out whether to invest or not, how would you go about doing this? what are the specific key factors you would look for?

in capiq, say i'm looking up a L/S equity hedge fund; i click on "Public Holdings" and get the list of their positions; are these all long positions? probably a stupid question, I think i am just confusing myself; also, if they are, how do you get their short positions? or are the short positions mixed in, and if so, is there any way to tell which is which?

if you had these offers, what would you pick?

--this is with a year of tmt banking experience; not saying i have/don't have these offers yet, i'm just saying which would you pick and why? ranking would be great; thanks so much!
