This is perhaps more applicable to the investment management world, but do any CFA's know what kind of job postings are in the CFA Job Bank? In other words are there jobs in there that someone of a more entry level would be qualified for, since you either need to be a member for pay to access it?

Calculators for the CFA

So you can use either the HP-12c or the TI-II plus. From everything i've read, the HP-12c is a classic and a favorite for bankers for the last 2+ decades, TI-II is a newer model.

Anyone have any thoughts on the pluses and minuses and which would be better for the CFA?

So im interviewing with this firm that has an undergraduate program where you do rotations til you find a team (teams are like 5-8 people)

They call me and tell me they like me so much they think I should skip the program and go straight to a team and they want me to interview for this team.

I do that, it went really well. I had been told I was the only one competing for it. Now 2 days later they call me and tell me they havent gotten a chance to confer about that team, but they also want me to interview with another team.

I sent out 5 thank you's after a super round I had. Two of them whom I thought I did really well with replied very postively about how much they enjoyed talking to me. How positive and indicative of receiving an offer is that?

Another question is how common is it for interviewers to reply to thank you's?
