Guys,

I posted this question on Asset Management forum and those lazy guys don't ever reply to anyhting...so thought i need to ask my own trading community.
I was planning to drop resume for CS private banking.
Would anybody please advise me on skill-sets i need to put on my resume and cover letter that CS Private Banking likes to see?
Also how is Private Banking different from PWM at CS and what are the products and services CS is a leader in?

Thanks

Valuing option on a spread

1) How does one value option on the spread between two indexes ? Does one model the spread in itself using a single factor model or does one need to build a multi-factor model to account for the behavior of individual indexes? What are the pros and cons of each?

2) How does one price an option using th forward price curve? Does he simply compute the price change between two points on the curve as a measure of volaitlity and feed it into Black-Schoeles(for simplicity we assume that its a log normal distribution and that we can use BS)?

Thanks

Energy Trading Recruitment

I was wondering if recruiting by energy trading firms would be affected given the economic scenario.
The banks are very apprehensive and most of them expect layoffs even in their energy trading divisions.
Would energy companies go the same way. I am graduating next may and worried about finding a job.

Series 3 license

1) Will putting a series 3 license on resume hurt for all non-sales jobs on the trading floor like trading, quant, etc? or will it actually help?

2) Series 3 is an individual license but do i need to park it somewhere if i am not using it?

3) Are the terms sales/broker/dealer used interchangeably for a BB for a sales position on the trading floor(unless its a separate broker shop)?

4) Do the sales people make the same amount of money as the traders in general?

Thanks
