how does this compare to BB IBD? exit opps?

Given all the shit going on, have more stable gigs like the above become more attractive.

Mutual funds are buyside... sometimes even investing in the paper financing the megabuyouts. Could you jump into a HF/ PE after doing a few years?

Alright so banks over hired for the incoming analyst class.

What are the relative liklihood for the scenarios:

Offer rescinded

Training Cut

Deferral

For banks that are in good shape, but need to be adjust to the change in deal flow.

What happens to the Mid=bucket analysts that don't get promoted to associate?

Do they have a decent shot at landing at a hf or mm pe shop?

Is there anyone else out there in my boat? I got the offer this fall, and signed. I have not been placed into any group left. Does anyone have any information about when I will get placed, the process, and other advice.
