There is an upcoming event coming up an it's focused on women on wall street, however they say everyone is welcome( I am a guy by the way). major banks will be attending, so it will be a great networking opportunity. Should I still go there?

Alright, do you guys think that race is still a factor especially when it comes to the final decision? I know there are a lot of firms that brag about diversity, but I don't believe this is the case. Did anyone feel that you were not offered because of your race or color? I hope that decisions are not always determined by the looks of the candidates, and they should be determined by the candidates' merits.

Hey everyone,

I would like to know what's the ultimate difference between HFs and AMs. What's the distinction between them? I understand that some AMs that can be considered as HFs. Is there any requirement for an AM be a HF?
