I'm a recent college grad looking at an offer from the Private Banking division of MS/ML/UBS/GS. What are some exits say 3 years down the line? By then, I would be licensed and all.

Private Banking Analyst Compensation

Is anyone familiar with pay structure for an analyst position at a Private bank at a BB (MS/GS/ML)? From my understanding, the differentiation between Private Banking and PWM is that PB deals with larger portfolios in the range of 10-25mm. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I also know that the pay can vary depending on experience, but I just wanted to get a feel for salary and bonuses. Thanks.

Is a CPA helpful in landing an IB offer?

I'm currently in the position to have the CPA paid for (granted I pass all parts) by the big4 firm that I work for. Eventually, I'm looking to move into finance, specifically IB. The markets are crappy, so in the mean time, I am considering just trying to pass the CPA. Does it look favorable if a candidate has a cpa? Or could it even be detrimental? Insight from those in the know would be great.

What are the chances of a ML, GS Private Wealth Management Analyst getting into a top 15 MBA program?

A VP was telling me how a 3 yr analyst stint would be a great way to prepare for an MBA. I would like to hear your thoughts. Obviously, you won't get much modeling experience, but it's not like you need that to get into a good school.
