B-School while working?

I am graduating in December from undergrad, non-target, with an offer from a fortune top 50 company in their 2-year leadership development program (think GE's FMP). The company pays 100% of tuition/books/etc.. up front, so it is something I want to take advantage of. I am not positive what I want to do after the program, but I would stay if I got into a good department/something I like.

But, is it even worth doing an MBA if it is going to be part-time while working? I know a lot of people say you want the networking and job placement experiences from your MBA, which part-time or online programs won't have as much of. I'm not looking to get into IB or anything (at least not in the near future), so perhaps the placement won't matter too much, especially if I stay with the company.

1st round interview coming up - advice

I have a first round interview coming up early next week, for a financial leadership development program position at a Fortune top-50 company.

I am scheduled for 2 interviews, 30 minutes each back to back with one manager/VP in each. Should I expect mainly behavioral questions for the first round, or should I concentrate on other areas more?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Preparing for behavioral interview questions?

What is the best way to prepare for behavioral/fit interview questions? There are endless possibilities for questions that follow the format, "Tell me about a time when..." or "Describe a situation when..." - is it best to just think of a bunch of different work/school related projects/situations/teams and categorize them under leadership, teamwork, conflict, etc..?

I have a phone interview tomorrow and an in person interview Monday at two different F500 companies, and I am expecting mainly behavioral questions for the first rounds.

Any advice is appreciated.

Resume screw up - what do I do?

So I recently (2 days ago) submitted my finalized resume to a few companies, after having it proof read by several friends.

I got a call today for one of the jobs I applied to, to schedule a phone interview. About 5 minutes ago I got a call from the same person, wanting to confirm my graduation date. Apparently my resume states Dec 2009 for graduation, when I actually graduate in Dec of this year.

Now I know it is my fault, and I have no idea how it happened, but heres the bigger issue:

The job that called me for the phone interview didn't care, just wanted to make sure I graduate this year. But, another job I applied for was through a connection I have, and I simply forwarded my resume to someone who requested it. I want this job 10x more than the other, and I'm afraid that they will see the 2009 graduation date and just pass by me.

Someone with Vault Gold, quick help needed

Can someone with the vault gold membership copy the interview survey from that link for me? My school doesn't give access to the gold stuff (only samples) and I don't feel like paying $45 to view a few sentences.

Thanks.

Could use some comments on my resume if anyone is willing to take a quick look. Not going for IB jobs, so it is nothing spectacular.

I need feedback today if possible as I need to apply to a couple of jobs ASAP, so please PM/email me if you have some free time.

Short company description on resume?

Is it beneficial to include a short description of a company on your resume if it is small?

For example, I am currently interning at a small ABL hedge fund that most people probably haven't heard of outside the ABL world. Is it common to include a description under the company name/position, or just highlight it throughout the bullet points?

What is the common thing to do in this situation?

Rank these jobs for best opportunities down the road

Graduating from a non-target in December, looking to get some relevant experience and then move on to something related to IB/corp dev hopefully down the road, probably after MBA.

I am looking at a few options, and although I will most likely apply for everything, I'm wondering in what order would you rank the following. I know none of them are directly related to IB type skills, but not everyone has those options so the rest of us have to start somewhere:

1. 2yr audit program at large lender - pros: get to learn about every industry, how it operates, drivers, etc..
2. financial leadership/development program - 2-3yr rotational program, seems like most programs rotate you through areas like internal audit, fp&a, etc.. seems boring but doable, and some offer the chance to do a rotation in corp strat
3. finance at a F500 company - will be like the development program but stuck in one area (not corp dev)

F500 finance options

I'm graduating this semester, and starting to look at some F500 companies in my area to apply to. I found one that has opportunities for recent finance graduates, in the "financial services" business unit.

It lists these following departments in which you can work, so I'm wondering what order you would place them in most relevant to have exit-ops into IB after b-school:

-Actuarial
-Business Unit Finance
-Controllers
-Internal Audit
-Investor Relations
-Procurement
-Real Estate Services
-Tax
-Treasurers

Would "Business Unit Finance" be FP&A related?
