I have taken a look at the CFA webpage, and I can respect that it is a world wide recognized credential, but where in IB would it be of the most use, after all a 3 year program takes alot of time and effort, I wouldn't want to chase it to find out that I might as well gone after my CFP (not much use in IB).

BTW I am an undergrad student, not an active professional.

In as far as culture, hours, and career advancement?

I was looking at a couple of butiques and they seem more focused then BB firms. Do any of you think that this approach is good for one's career? I cannot bilieve that there is an ironfisted oligopoly on all aspects of IB. Or am I bieng a bit idealistic?
